Located in Claremore, Oklahoma, Rogers State University is the fastest growing University in the State. The school has been offering bachelor’s degrees since 2000 and has a current enrollment of over 4000 students in three campuses. Rogers State University has been in existence since 1909 when it opened under the name Eastern University Preparatory School. There have been many changes in the way the school operates through the years; it took the Rogers State name in the early 1980s.
Rogers offers bachelor’s degrees in 16 different areas including science, art and technology. The school is a pioneer in distance learning, offering classes through eCollege. Currently Rogers offers four degrees available completely online. In addition to the educational opportunities for students at Rogers, there are many programs available to enrich the student life at the school. The best-known programs at Rogers include the student run radio and television stations. They offer a glimpse into life at Rogers as well as providing entertaining programs for the students and those who live in the region.
